Their goal is to support the church's missions and enable efficient ministries through organized stewardship and precise record-keeping.

Led by Bro. Jopher Umila and assisted by Bro. Jeff Manabat, the team aims to create a warm, welcoming, and orderly environment for worship. They serve with humility, guide attendees with kindness, and support the smooth flow of services—all in order to honor God and foster a spirit of reverence, unity, and love within the church.

❤️ Pastoral Care

Led by Pr. Erwin Marquez and assisted by Bro. Kristian Respicio, this initiative aims to provide practical support to the pastor. The goal is to share the responsibilities of ministry, ensuring the pastor's well-being and enhancing the effectiveness of his leadership. This support allows him to continue serving God and the church with renewed strength and focus.

📖 Preaching

Led by Ptr. Gamy Romano and assisted by Bro. Kristian Respicio, this ministry aims to clearly, truthfully, and powerfully proclaim the Word of God. Its purpose is to equip believers, convict hearts, and guide people to Christ by providing the church with sound doctrine that transforms lives and strengthens faith.

This ministry seeks to develop servant-hearted messengers who rightly divide the truth, build up the church, and glorify Christ through preaching.

✝️ Soul Winning

The group, also known as SWAT (Soul-Winning Army of Toronto), consists of a men's team led by Bro. Kristian Respicio and a women's team led by Sis. Myrna Tabita.

The primary aim of this group is to actively share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with those who are lost, leading them to salvation through personal evangelism, discipleship, and prayer. This ministry strives to fulfill the Great Commission by equipping believers to boldly witness, win souls, and nurture new believers in their walk with God.

The ministry also includes sub-ministries, such as the Discipleship Ministry and the Follow-Up Ministry.

🌍 Missions

Led by Sister Mai Santiago and assisted by Brother Ferdinand Hernandez, we are a mission-focused and soul-winning Baptist church in Canada. Our dedication lies in evangelizing the lost so that individuals may come to know the Lord Jesus Christ, make disciples, and glorify God. With a deep concern for the Philippines and a passion for reaching the nations, we support missionaries, partner in church planting, and engage in mission work to see lives transformed and souls saved, both locally and globally.

From bulletins to tracts and decorative items, our Christ-centered resources are designed to enhance evangelism, discipleship, and the overall mission of the church.

Led by Sis. Chelzy Respicio, our aim is to glorify God and edify the church through Christ-honoring music. This music is rooted in Scripture, reverent in spirit, and faithful to sound doctrine. We use our gifts to direct hearts toward the Lord Jesus Christ.

This ministry includes sub-ministries such as the Main Choir, Youth Choir, Junior Choir, Songleading, Orchestra, and ministries for Composers & Arrangers.

📚 Sunday School

Led by Sister Nenita Velasco and assisted by Brother Genesis Pabunan, this ministry aims to nurture the spiritual growth of children and youth. We focus on teaching the Word of God, fostering a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, and building a strong foundation of Christian values through worship, fellowship, and service.

The ministry is divided into four groups: Toddlers, Preschool, Grade School, and Teens.

🎥 Multimedia

Led by Bro. Gimel Romano and assisted by Bro. John Roy Abotanatin, this ministry aims to ensure the smooth, clear, and accessible delivery of the Word of God through both in-person and online formats.

The ministry includes several sub-ministries, such as Microphone Technicians, Video Editors, Videographers, Photographers, and PowerPoint and Live Stream Operators.

• Facilitated the viewing of our services for people around the globe, including the Philippines and Africa.

🎓 GTBCA

Originally established as Metropolitan Bible Baptist Christian Academy (MBBCA) on October 9, 2016, our institution is now known as Greater Toronto Baptist Christian Academy (GTBCA). GTBCA is a school ministry dedicated to fulfilling God’s commandment to provide quality Christian education to our children. We focus on teaching Biblical principles to help them become productive citizens and be empowered to serve God effectively in the ministry in the future.

🧱 Builder's Club

Under the leadership of Brother Eugene Tapec Jr. and with the assistance of Brother Ianne Pabunan, our mission is to provide financial support to students and their families as they strive to send their children to our Christian school. By God’s grace, it has been a tremendous blessing to witness many GTBCA alumni faithfully serving God as professionals, while others continue to pursue their God-given careers.

🧼 Keepers of the House of the Lord

Led by Bro. Paolgene Tapec and assisted by Bro. Jeffrey Mabanat, our ministry consists of dedicated individuals who work behind the scenes to clean and maintain the church, ensuring it remains a welcoming place of worship. Each member is assigned specific areas, including the auditorium, stairwells, kitchen, restrooms, nursery, Pastor’s office, windows, and music room.

🛠️ Stewards of the House of the Lord

Led by Bro. Dennis Pulao and assisted by Bro. Dale Daweg, this ministry was established in 2022 to care for the church facility. Since its inception, the ministry has worked diligently on numerous projects, including the renovation of both the church and the GTBCA facility, the construction of the baptistry, and various ongoing efforts, all for the glory of God.

Truly, the Lord has equipped His servants with wisdom, skills, and strength, allowing His house to remain a place of beauty, reverence, and worship.

🏥 Health & Safety

Led by Bro. Emerson Agpaoa and assisted by Sis. Aida Umila, the Health and Safety Ministry, including the Food Handlers, is dedicated to protecting the well-being of everyone who enters the house of God. Our mission is to create a secure, healthy, and prepared environment.

We aim to honor the Lord by caring for His people through prevention, readiness, and compassionate responses in times of need. Our service reflects God’s love and our shared commitment to care for one another in unity and faith.

Notabale Accomplishments:

• Emergency Kit Secured: Includes AED, basic meds, and first aid tools (BP monitor, glucometer, pulse oximeter).
• On-site Care: Provided first aid for minor illnesses and injuries.
• Food Safety: Protocols developed for safe meal preparation.
• Health Updates: Shared timely alerts via GTBC Facebook group.

Led by Brother Jopher Umila and assisted by Brother Paolgene Tapec, we are dedicated to the following goals:

We are committed to ensuring that every individual, regardless of transportation limitations, can fully participate in church services, ministries, and events.

Fellowship:

We aim to strengthen the bonds within our church family by turning travel time into moments of connection, encouragement, and shared joy.

Outreach:

We extend the love of Christ beyond our walls by providing transportation to potential visitors and individuals in need, allowing them to experience God’s presence and our church community.

Led by Brother Randy Cabaddu, the mission of the Security Ministry is to lovingly look after our church family, ensuring that everyone feels safe, welcomed, and cared for as they worship and serve.

We are dedicated to being present, vigilant, and approachable, protecting with a servant's heart while fostering peace and unity in our gatherings.

🎯 Youth Arrows

Led by Bro. Marky Daweg and assisted by Bro. Ethan Romano, the Youth Arrows Ministry is a vibrant church group dedicated to inspiring young people to serve God wholeheartedly and discover their roles in ministry. Founded by Pastor Gamy Romano, this ministry creates an atmosphere where youth are both challenged and encouraged to grow in faith, develop their God-given gifts, and actively participate in various church ministries. Our mission is to nurture a generation of passionate, committed believers who align their lives with God’s purpose—like arrows aimed at a divine target.

⚔️ SPEARS

Led by Bro. Angelo Gonzales and assisted by Sis. Venjiemeh Paine, Striving Professionals Evangelizing and Reaching Success (SPEARS) is a group of young adult professionals committed to partnering with our Pastor to inspire and empower the next generation. Our mission is to mentor and guide youth in their spiritual journeys, academic goals, and career aspirations, while we continue to pursue excellence in our own professions. We strive to be role models who embody faith, diligence, and integrity, encouraging others to reach their God-given potential.
